Ambrosia Bee Feed Syrup in 16 kg Cubitainer
Ambrosia bee feed syrup consists, based on dry matter, of 40% high-purity fructose, 30% each of glucose and sucrose, and water. Thanks to its high concentration with a 72.7% dry substance content, Ambrosia bee feed syrup is not prone to microbiological spoilage or contamination with yeast bacteria. The high fructose content prevents the formation of crystals during storage and as winter feed in the combs. Ambrosia bee feed syrup is a balanced, liquid ready-to-use bee feed with a low HMF content (hydroxymethylfurfural) in a well-balanced composition and ensures thorough utilisation by the bees. Probably the best bee feed for winter feeding. Ambrosia bee feed is made from sucrose and thereby differs from most products on the market, which are made from starch (wheat, maize).
Bee Feed Syrup, Use and Storage
- 1 kg of bee feed syrup corresponds to approximately 0.73 kg of crystal sugar
- 1 kg of feed syrup corresponds to approximately 1 kg of winter feed
- Bee feed syrup can be stored for 18 months in the original container; opened containers of bee feed should be used promptly
- The storage temperature for bee feed should be between 10°C and 17°C
- Small quantities of feed syrup are shipped by parcel service; larger quantities from approximately 10 cubitainers of bee feed are shipped on a pallet at daily rates. Collection in person by arrangement.
