Manual honey extractors

The hand-operated honey extractor is the entry-level model for beekeepers. For small numbers of people, the hand-operated centrifuge is an inexpensive alternative to the motor-driven honey extractor. The slingshots we offer in the online shop can also be picked up and viewed in our shop. The drive with hand crank can be replaced at any time by a motor. The boiler is made of stainless steel and, depending on its size, is designed for several frames. After the end cap, the honeycombs are inserted into the centrifuge basket from above, the lid is closed and the honey extractor is rotated manually. The speed is gradually increased until honey no longer spurts out of the honeycomb. The beekeeper should spin the spin cycle for about ten minutes at a constant speed. During the spinning process, work must be carried out without jerks to prevent the honeycombs from breaking in the honey extractor. The size of the honey extractor should be chosen according to the honeycomb size. The different sizes of honeycomb, zander, Dadant or German standard size require different honey extractors or kettle sizes. We would be happy to advise you on the selection of your beekeeping needs.
