Wooden Spacer 10mm
Spacers for honeycomb frames are used for the correct arrangement of frames and combs in the beehive. A 10mm frame spacing is preferred for combs with 25mm wide bars (top bars), resulting in a comb spacing of 35mm (center of comb to center of comb). A spacing regulation in organic beekeeping is thus no longer a problem; avoid plastic and metal and use a natural and environmentally friendly raw material. The bees appreciate the use of wooden spacers by reducing propolizing, which significantly eases the management of bee colonies.

Application / Attachment of the Spacers:
The spacer has a fastening pin with a diameter of 4mm and a length of 6mm. This can be attached with some glue into a hole (3.5 - 4mm diameter and at least 6mm deep) on the honeycomb frame.
