The feed frame for the Mini Plus hive system from Stehr
The filling volume of 2.5 liters is adapted to the Mini Plus hive. The side access, which runs across the entire width, can be turned as desired, towards the entrance hole, or to the rear, or to the right or left. The access is covered with a transparent plexiglass pane so that refilling is possible without coming into contact with the bees. It is no problem to leave the feeding frame on the hive even in winter without fear of negative effects on the colony. It is easy to put it on, just remove the lid of the Mini-Plus hive, put the feeding frame on it and put the lid on the feeding frame. Instead of liquid feeding, the feeding frame can also be filled with feed dough, in which case the Plexiglas cover is removed.
