Mini Plus hive completely made of polystyrene from Stehr
The Mini Plus hive made of polystyrene is one of the most successful hive constructions for bee colonies. It is ideal for queen bee breeding as the 6 comb frames offer sufficient space for a large number of nurse bees and when the queen has laid her eggs a good assessment is possible. With two to three additional frames, the Mini Plus can also be used to overwinter bee colonies as reserve colonies. The optionally available feeding frame with a capacity of 2.5 liters makes feeding much easier.
