Segeberger complete hive from Stehr made of hard foam

The frames are suitable for 11 combs German standard size and with a square outer dimension of approx. 50 x 50 cm. With two brood chambers there is enough space, even for the most laying-friendly queen. The magazine can be operated in both hot and cold construction. Made from 28 mm - 50 mm thick and untreated PU hard foam in solid Stehr quality. The frames have a stable rebate and four circumferential, stable recessed grips. Hard foam hives made of Hartpor Styropor® with a wall thickness of up to 50 mm are light, warm, weather-resistant and always fit perfectly. The good thermal insulation enables the queen bee to extend the brood nest to the edge comb, which ensures strong and vital bee colonies and maximum honey yields.
