The Apidea mating box is characterised by its well thought-out design. The dimensional accuracy of this plastic foam is amazingly precise. However, the transparent lid placed on the frames has only a limited durability. In addition, the original is not heat-resistant. Apidea offers a heat-resistant transparent cover as a spare part.
