Ambrosia feed dough from Nordzucker 5x2.5kg portions in a box
Feed dough, the proven feed for all bee colonies and offshoots. Feed dough consists of a mixture of powdered sugar and invert sugar to form a paste-like mass. This can then be fed to the colonies in the feed bags, feed chambers or directly as a block in the packaging. Feed dough is irreplaceable for queen rearing in order to give the small bee colonies, the mating units, enough food so that they survive the time of placement at the mating site. The advantage of feed dough is that it does not cause robbing, even in late summer, as can be the case with liquid feed.
