Die Firma Stehr bekannt durch die Segeberger Beute aus Styropor stellt darüber hinaus viele weitere Produkte aus Styropor her. Ablegerkästen, Mini-Plus Beuten, Apidea und Kieler Begattungskasten sind nur einige des Umfangreichen Produktsortiments. Die gute Wärmeisolation des Styropors macht es zum guten Naterial für die Herstellung von Bienenwohnungen und Ablegerkästen. Die Wabenmaße der Beuten geht von deutsch Normalmaß ( DNM ) über ander und Dadant bis zum Mini-Plus Beutensystem. Als Hersteller des schweizer Begattungskastens Apidea wird das Programm abgerundet.
